Prism Product Development LLC offers end-to-end product development and engineering services — from market research and concept generation through prototyping, detailed design, testing support, and manufacturing handoff. Our toolkit includes in-house Solidworks and 3D printing capabilities, and access to various manufacturing methods, PCB design and small-run assembly. We offer flexible engagement options and can plug in as an extension of your existing team to give your organization flexibility, or hand a tough problem off to us and let us run with it.

Prism is fully insured to protect your work and minimize risk. General Liability, Professional Liability (Errors & Omissions), and Worker’s Compensation coverage are in place so clients can engage with us confidently.

Principal Mechanical Engineer

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by how things work. What began with building models and RC cars as a kid grew in leading the Baja SAE team at Northeastern University, and continues today working on my home or vehicles. I've always had a project in progress, and a drive to understand — and improve — the systems I work on. As a consultant, I bring that same mindset and passion to my clients, helping distill complex problems to their core requirements and efficiently converge on well-engineered, effective solutions.

With 15 years of professional experience, I’m deeply familiar with the full spectrum of product development phases, and have launched products in a variety of industries including consumer electronics, electric vehicles, and robotics. My career began at Bose, where I was immersed in a culture of rigorous design engineering, and created a strong technical foundation for my work. I’ve been a part of close-knit, dynamic teams at Superpedestrian, XL Fleet, and Factorial Energy, which instilled agility and efficiency in my approach. As a Principal Engineer at Product Insight, I led technical teams and interfaced with clients, underscoring the importance of building trust, understanding clients’ needs, and using a methodical, transparent approach in developing the right solutions. These experiences coalesced into a balanced approach that I tailor to the needs of each project and client, with a consistent foundational rigor.

Few projects are solely mechanical in nature - when the lines blur between disciplines, I’m comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and maintaining alignment with all stakeholders involved. Having worked alongside expertise in embedded systems, RF, power, ID/UX, acoustics, chemistry, manufacturing, and operations, I deeply value the relationships it takes to build great products.

I’m continually branching into new areas of work where I can grow my knowledge. I have a professional interest in sustainability, biomedical devices, and ways my expertise can improve the world we live in.

When I’m not elbow-deep in a project of some kind, I also enjoy traveling with my wife, mountain biking, and skiing.
